Board Members
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest board members, Sean Dyer, Sonia Valdez, and Angie Jung.
Sean Dyer is a Senior Account Executive with Medix in the Care Management/Insurance division. He works in the recruiting space helping Care Management and Behavioral Health departments find great talent for their teams. He has served on boards and committees for various healthcare professional organizations.
Sonia Valdez DNP, RN, ACNP, GANP, PHN, CVRN-BC, is manager of the post-acute care programs at University of California Irvine. She currently serves as Secretary for the National Association of Hispanic Nurses and President of the Los Angeles Chapter.
Angie Jung is a co-founder of ISYS Solutions, Inc., which provides medical case management and return-to-work services throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Angie is also a cofounder of CareerSmart Learning (sister company of ISYS), which offers continuing education for nurses, case managers, claims professionals, and other healthcare professionals nationwide. She is on the board of directors with both organizations.

Sickle cell disease is an inherited blood disorder. It is marked by flawed hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen to the tissues of the body. Sickle cell disease interferes with the delivery of oxygen to the tissues.
